  • It is recommended you have a Develop ID to register for a CARS class.  It is free and simple to get a number.  All your training will be logged online and easily accessible.

  • If you do not have a Develop ID, you must provide your case workers email address and phone number on the registration form so your attendance can be verified with them.

  • Register for a Develop ID here: https://www.developtoolmn.org/app/Authentication/SignIn.aspx

Minnesota requires all daycare and foster care providers in the state to complete the CARS class in order to transport children (MN Statute 245A.18)

This requirement includes family and group family child care, child care centers, child foster care, and others licensed by the Department of Human Services that serve children under nine years of age.
